Suresh Raina hails MS Dhoni’s ICC Corridor of Fame induction: ‘His legacy will proceed…’ | Cricket Information


Suresh Raina has celebrated MS Dhoni’s inclusion within the Worldwide Cricket Council’s Corridor of Fame. Dhoni grew to become the eleventh Indian to obtain the honour on Monday and was amongst seven former gamers to have been inducted. Raina, who performed a majority of his profession below the captaincy of Dhoni in worldwide cricket and the Indian Premier League (IPL) mentioned that the honour is “properly deserved”.

Considered some of the profitable captains of all time, Dhoni led India to victory within the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 World Cup and the 2013 Champions Trophy. The opposite greats who had been inducted together with Dhoni had been Australia’s Matthew Hayden, former South Africa captain Graeme Smith, former New Zealand skipper Daniel Vettori, South African Hashim Amla, former Pakistan captain Sana Mir and England’s Sarah Taylor. The previous India gamers to be inducted earlier than Dhoni are Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Diana Edulji, Anil Kumble, Bishan Singh Bedi, Kapil Dev, Rahul Dravid, Vinoo Mankad and Neetu David.
