IPL 2025 Mega Auction, IPL 2025 Mega Auction : A mega auction will be held on November 24 and 25 ahead of IPL 2025. This mega auction is scheduled to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. All franchisees have started preparations for this. All 10 teams have released the list of retained players ahead of the mega auction. These players include many names whose performances have been outstanding in the IPL or who have won a lot of fanfare in a very short span of time.
Here are 7 spinners, including Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravichandran Ashwin, Washington Sundar and Harpreet Brar, on whom teams can spend up to crores of rupees during the IPL mega auction. The list also includes three foreign spinners namely New Zealand’s Mitchell Centner, Afghanistan’s Noor Ahmed and Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga.
Yuzvendra Chahal most successful bowler of IPL
Yuzvendra Chahal is the highest wicket taker in the history of IPL. He has so far taken 205 wickets in 160 matches at an economy of 7.84 and an average of 22.45. He was tied up with Rajasthan Royals from 2022, but this time the franchise has released him. Yuzvendra Chahal was earlier part of Royal Challengers Bangalore from IPL 2014 to 2021.

Ravichandran Ashwin has played for 5 teams
Ravichandran Ashwin is the sixth highest wicket-taker in IPL history. He has so far taken 180 wickets in 212 matches at an economy of 7.12 and an average of 29.83. Ravichandran Ashwin was linked with Rajasthan Royals from 2022, but this time the franchise has released him. Ravichandran Ashwin has previously played in the IPL for Chennai Super Kings (2008–2015), Rising Super Giants (2016–2017), Kings XI Punjab (2018–2019/now Punjab Kings) and Delhi Capitals (2020–2021).

Washington Sundar is at number 99 in the list of highest wicket takers in IPL history. He has so far taken 37 wickets in 60 matches at an economy of 7.54 and an average of 35.81. Washington Sundar was linked with Sunrisers Hyderabad from IPL 2022, but this time the franchise has released him. Washington Sundar has previously played for Rising Pune Supergiant (2017) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (2018-2021) in the IPL.
